Scottish Government publishes its international strategy for 2024

The Scottish Government has released its international strategy for 2024, focusing on economy, climate, and reputation.

The strategy outlines Scotland’s approach to engaging with the world on its priorities, values and interests, as well as contributing to global challenges such as climate change, human rights and development. The strategy focuses on three themes: economy, trade and investment; climate change, biodiversity and renewable energy; and reputation, influence and relationships, aiming to build on Scotland’s strengths and seize opportunities to deliver tangible benefits to the people of Scotland and its international partners
