Who are we & why do we hold data
Scotland’s International Development Alliance is committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of all those who visit this website. In this privacy policy, we provide information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it and how we keep it secure.
We do not sell or trade email lists or contact details with other organisations and businesses.
We hold personal details provided to us with consent (via member application forms) to use in order to correspond with individuals and organisations who make up our membership.
What personal data do we hold?
For those who are members, we hold the personal data (name, organisation and email addresses) that you have supplied and consented to us using when you complete the membership application form. We will hold this data for the duration of your membership and will delete it no longer than one year after the website has been taken down or within 20 working days if you request it.
For subscribers to our mailing list, we hold the personal data that you supply when you subscribe and consented to us using to contact you. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing admin@intdevalliance.scot.
If you request to be unsubscribed, you will immediately no longer receive emails from us and all of your personal information will be removed from our records within 20 working days.
We collect personal information from you through the use of request forms. Please note that the information given by you will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 for the purposes of processing your request, providing you with information about services we offer,and for auditing usage of the site. Your details will also be entered into our database for general administration purposes. We will respect your instructions not to send you additional information if this has been indicated.
How do we use information gathered from use of our website?
Like many websites, Scotland’s Interational Development Alliance uses cookies to collect information.
