The Centre for Climate Justice at Glasgow Caledonian University are delighted to announce the 2020 Public Engagement Programme, the focus of which is to foster deep and challenging conversations on the injustices of climate change around the world.

The webinars will extend until the end of September 2020, and seek to maintain focus on the climate emergency as the world comes out of the COVID-19 pandemic while at the same time building momentum to COP26, which will take place in Glasgow in November 2021. The events will feature both internal and external speakers representing the worlds of academia, policy, and the third sector, and will be free and open to the public.

The webinars will be centred on the concept of climate justice as it applies to topics such as education, international development, microfinance, post-COVID-19 recovery, forced displacement and intersectionality.

The Programme with all relevant links can be found here. Join us and our partners to learn more about our current research and to share your own perspectives, and please feel free to circulate the Programme among your colleagues, friends, and students.
