CPG opens inquiry into Scottish Government international development funding

The Cross-Party Group (CPG) for International Development have opened a call for evidence for an inquiry into Scottish Government funding for international development. The inquiry seeks to help the CPG understand the evolution of Scotland’s contribution to international development, including where and how funds have been committed since the last National Outcomes review, and how this is changing.

Anyone is welcome to respond to the call for evidence here. The inquiry will also include desk-based research and face-to-face meetings, including consideration of the Scottish Government’s report on overseas development spend for 2021-23 which will be published later this month. The inquiry is expected to report to the September CPG meeting.

SIDA encourages our members to consider responding to the inquiry, sharing any experiences you have (both positive and negative), to support the CPG in gaining an accurate understanding of current processes.
