Panel sessions showcased how research-informed development projects can support SDG 13: Climate Action and SDG 15: Life on Land. SDG 13 aims to take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts by focusing on key targets that address mitigation, adaptation, education, and finance. SDG 15 aims to protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, forests, wetlands, mountains and drylands, and halt and reverse land degradation and biodiversity loss.
