People’s Postcode Lottery was piloted in 2005 with a clear goal – to become an innovative fundraising operation and raise awareness for the good causes that our players support. Since 2005, our players have raised over £229 Million for good causes. When our players sign up, they play with their postcode. That means that lucky neighbours win together. With a minimum of 31% of all ticket sales going directly to charity, players are raising funds and awareness for over 2,800 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
People’s Postcode Lottery promotes and manages external society lotteries on behalf of 18 charitable Trusts. Postcode Global Trust, Postcode African Trust and Postcode Equality Trust support charities that address fundamental inequalities internationally and save lives, improve health systems, provide education to communities, help prevent and relieve poverty, make advancements in human rights, conflict resolution or reconciliation while promoting equality and diversity.
