Mellow Parenting

Mellow Parenting is an NGO that exists to promote nurturing parent child relationships. We believe that sustainable development rests upon strong foundations which begin in early childhood.
We research, develop and implement evidenced based parenting programmes from the antenatal period up to age three. Mellow Programmes are culturally adaptable, have low literacy requirements are flexible to local needs and value for money. They complement and enhance other early childhood interventions including health, nutrition, sanitation, disability, social protection and poverty alleviation. Mellow Parenting has been delivered in low, middle and high income countries with good results. Our programmes are aligned to Scottish Government Early Years policies including Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC).
