Kids Operating Room

KidsOR are an Edinburgh based charity working globally to make safe surgery is accessible to children in low- and middle-income countries. Having been founded in 2018, we have already made great progress in our mission by installing 50 Operating Room’s across 20 different countries and completing over 50,000 lifesaving operations. In addition to providing children with safe surgery, we also provide scholarships for local surgeons to become specialised paediatric surgeons. This sustainable approach removes the ‘quick fix’ method of days gone by. Rather, we invest in local medical professionals to benefit the children, the community, and the countries healthcare system.
