International Justice Mission

International Justice Mission (IJM) is a global team of lawyers, social workers, investigators, community activists and professionals working to protect the poor from violence and slavery. IJM is the largest casework-based anti-slavery organisation in the world. We work in 17 communities throughout Africa, Latin America, South and Southeast Asia, where we partner with local authorities to rescue victims of violence, bring criminals to justice, restore survivors and strengthen justice systems. IJM’s work aims to rescue thousands, protect millions, and prove that justice for the poor is possible, and so far, has relieved over 40,000 people from oppression, trained over 46,000 public justice system professionals since 2012 and is currently protecting over 21 million people from violence.
