We were delighted to host our first in-person networking event of 2023, ‘Out of the Storm and Towards Global Solidarity’ on Thursday 16th March, at Trades Hall of Glasgow and online.

We were joined by over 180 engaged global citizens for a morning of panel discussions, followed by a networking lunch. The conference considered how we can overcome global challenges for a more resilient and equitable sustainable development sector for Scotland.

The two panel sessions discussed building an economy for global solidarity and gaining more political support for global redistribution and the Sustainable Development Goals.

We were joined by a fantastic line-up of speakers, with a keynote address by Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell MP, and chaired by Tasnim Nazeer.
