The Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI) is an international programme coordinated by the World Council of Churches. It brings people from around the world to the West Bank to serve for three months as human rights monitors. We call them Ecumenical Accompaniers (EAs).
We believe that everyone can take action to help end the occupation and bring about a just peace for both Palestinians and Israelis. We need a movement of people who can take action for peace. Will you join us?
EAs will spend 3 months in Palestine to:
· Stand in solidarity with Palestinian and Israeli peace activists in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
· Monitor human rights abuses for the UN and others.
· Advocate for justice, equality and an end to the military occupation of Palestine.
Full training is given. Expenses are covered and a living allowance is provided.
We recruit a year in advance and provide in-depth training and resources to help you to prepare.
