Global Concerns Trust | Trustee Vacancy

Closing date: 15 March 2024, 12:00 PM

The Global Concerns Trust is a small independent charity with a wide reach.

Their aim is to reduce poverty and empower vulnerable people through partnering organisations that implement sustainable grass roots development projects. The Global Concerns Trust was started in 1996 by their founder Alastair Christie and they currently run projects in Malawi and India.

They are looking for two new Trustees to help them as they take their work forward. Trustees meet as a board 4 times a year with the expectation that they may take on specific roles and/or do specific work on behalf of the organisation. They would particularly like to hear from those who have experience in the areas of organisational strategic development and fundraising. More important however is an understanding of and empathy with international development charities, willingness to work as part of a close team of trustees and sharing the ethos of The Global Concerns Trust.
