Type of project: Under our Marine programme, we support initiatives that work to halt and restore declining fish stocks by: Stopping destructive and illegal fishing. Supporting sustainable and small-scale fisheries. Preference will be given to initiatives working to influence fisheries policy, projects that halt the decline of fish stocks that communities in the Global South rely on, and those working to bring about sustainable fisheries in Wales.
Location: Worldwide, except in conflict-affected areas
Eligibility: We prioritise providing funding support to UK-based charities, many of whom work in close partnership with smaller local NGOs based in the countries in which they operate
Grant size: A total of £100,000 – £150,000 spread over multiple years
Deadline: 1 March
