Type of Project: Unrestricted grants under the Charity’s Responsive grants is support of small to medium-sized charities where we believe a small grant is likely to make a difference. Focus areas are broad. We do not currently support organisations or projects where the main object is: advancement of education advancement of arts, heritage, culture or science sport animal welfare work linked to the armed forces.
Location: Scotland and overseas
Eligibility: Charities registered with OSCR whose income is in the range £25,000 to £500,000 may apply. Most applications for responsive grants are from charities based in Scotland, but we will consider charities working UK-wide or where the main focus of the work is overseas development so long as you have sufficient support or activity in Scotland to have achieved registration with OSCR.
Grant size: £1,000. Responsive Grants are normally unrestricted
