Type of project: Their focus areas of work include: (1) biodiversity; (2) climate change (incl. mitigation and adaptation); (3) land degradation; (4) sustainable forest management; (5) international waters; and (6) chemicals. Small grant projects are given to non-governmental organizations in developing countries for community-based projects to demonstrate and achieve more sustainable livelihoods while achieving global environmental benefits.
