Type of Project: Whilst the Trust maintains a policy of considering applications from a wide variety of charities, the emphasis has been to mainly support medical research, youth charities and welfare both here and abroad. Grants to smaller charities remained a priority of the Trust during the year and in many cases the distributions made were provided to support an innovation or a critical issue. Support for larger or national charities was predominantly to support either the ongoing work of the organisation or a particular initiative.
