Type of project: The Rhododendron Trust is a grant-making charity focused mainly on the welfare of the disadvantaged in the UK and overseas but also supporting arts and wildlife charities. Preference is for small charities where a donation would make a significant contribution to the charity’s work. The focus areas for charities working overseas are: Children and Education; Development Disability Medical Women and Justice and Nature. Donations are made once a year, generally in March after a meeting of the charity Trustees.

Eligibility: Only makes donations to UK based charities registered with the Charity Commission.
Grant size: £1,000 – £2,500. Grants totalled £41,500 in 2024.
