Lifeline Embattled CSO – emergency assistance, rapid response advocacy, and rapid response resiliency grants

Closing date: 31 December 2023, 12:00 AM

Type of project: Lifeline provides small, short-term ‘emergency’ grants to CSOs threatened because of their human rights work. ‘Rapid response advocacy’ grants aim to give local CSOs the resources to push back against closures of civic space as they arise. ‘Rapid response resiliency’ grants are intended to provide support to threatened CSOs to proactively avoid or mitigate the threats they face and help them continue to work in high-risk environments. Lifeline prioritises support to CSOs who face additional layers of vulnerability and restrictions, such as women’s rights and female-led organisations, organisations lead by indigenous peoples, and land rights focused CSOs.
