La Caixa Foundation Child Survival

Type of Project: Through the Child Survival Call we help to improve child survival in sub-Saharan African countries with a high burden of maternal and child mortality. The Call is in line with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) #3 which aims, among other targets, to end preventable deaths of newborns and children under 5 years of age by 2030 and to reduce the global maternal mortality ratio, as well as SDG #17 which encourages and promotes partnerships to achieve the SDGs.
Location: Angola, Ethiopia, Guinea Bissau, Kenya, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda
Eligibility: The Call is aimed at networks of three to five registered entities that include Spanish, Portuguese and/or international non-profit organisations, all projects must have at least one entity from the country of implementation.
Grant size: Up to a maximum of EUR 150,000 for networks of three entities (provided one is local) OR up to a maximum of EUR 450,000 for networks of four or five entities (provided one is local)
