Knorr-Bremse Global Care e. V.

Type of project: Knorr-Bremse Global Care is a global non-profit organization set up by employees to offer new prospects to people who find themselves in need through no fault of their own. The European subunit supports projects in the field of education and WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene). We give preference to projects that address our key objective: promoting the impact-orientated self-sufficiency and self-responsibility of people in need.
Location: Brazil, South Africa and the European countries in which Knorr-Bremse sites are located as well as Cambodia, Colombia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Myanmar, Peru, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Ukraine
Eligibility: Only non-profit organizations will be supported, normally domiciled in Germany or in the EU/EEC
Grant size: Small partner organizations (maximum 2 FT employees, funds less than 200,000 euros/year): first application limited to 50,000 euros. Large partner organizations (at least two full-time employees, funds more than 200,000 euros/year): first application limited to 100,000 euros
