Type of Project: Hazel’s Footprints Trust was established with an aim to support access to education for children in developing countries. We are interested in providing grants to a small number of projects each year. While varied in nature, all projects supported to date have access to education at their core, be that in helping prepare and motivate children to learn, creating and equipping effective environments for learning or helping to address specific learning needs. Examples include projects to provide a school with IT equipment, build a library, build and refurbish classrooms, build a school kitchen and fund specific educational programmes.
Location: Developing countries
Eligibility: We fund via UK charity partners only and cannot accept applications directly from schools or projects in-country. Charities must be registered with the Charities Commission or the Scottish Charity Register (OSCR).
Grant size: £2,000 to £15,000
Deadline: Mid-August
