The Fun supports new technologies, policy and social/behavioural innovations, new delivery models, rigorous impact evaluations, cost-effectiveness studies and scaling of proven innovations. It prioritises innovations with potential to reach 1 million+ people cost-effectively. Open to public, commercial and hybrid pathways to scale.
Location: Low-, lower-middle- and upper-middle-income countries globally
Eligibility: Nonprofits, social enterprises, startups, universities, research institutions and consortia. Both locally led and global organisations welcome. Must have a legally incorporated entity.
Grant size: Stage 1 pilot, up to $200,000, Stage 2 test and position for scale, up to $500,000–$750,000, Stage 3 (cale, up to $1.5m.
