THE MCCONNELL INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION

The McConnell International Foundation (MIF) prioritises education, good governance and peacebuilding. Fundamentally, we believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life with the opportunity to learn, participate and be free from fear.
MIF identifies opportunities to help fill gaps in provision or support innovative local approaches to conflict prevention, peace building and development. We are supported by regular donors, occasional appeals, grants and by our own efforts. We fundamentally believe in working with local partners or trusted international organisations who have a record of supporting children in the right way at the right time in the right place.
Our main programme is Keep Girls in School, which provides scholarships and other support for 200 girls in rural Malawi to complete their secondary education.
