The Scottish Government’s international teams have offered to meet with SIDA members in the latest of a series of stakeholder engagement sessions. A number of SIDA – and Stop Climate Chaos Scotland – member organisations took part in a useful briefing and discussion with Scottish Government officials on latest developments around the Climate Justice Fund (CJF) in August last year. This was followed in November by a session looking at the wider International Development Fund.
The next session will take place on Wednesday 19th March, 11:00am and will be fully online. The focus will switch back to climate issues, with a stocktake on COP29 and look-head to COP30, and with a discussion on current and future CJF plans. The session is open to any SIDA members interested in engaging with the Scottish Government, and may be particularly relevant to those already in receipt of or considering applying for climate funding.
