Send a Cow is hosting an online event on Wednesday 13 April 2022 at 9:00 USA-EDT (Eastern Daily Time), 14:00 UK-BST (British Summer Time), 15:00 South Africa-SAST (South Africa Standard Time) 16:00 E Africa-EAT (East Africa Time) to discuss how non-specialist organisations can contribute to tackling Intimate Partner Violence.
The one hour event will draw from a recently published report: ‘Examining the effectiveness of a gender transformative approach in economic empowerment programs to reduce Intimate Partner Violence’, summarising the key findings from research conducted by Send a Cow and the Global Women’s Institute, funded by a Development Marketplace award from the Sexual Violence Research Initiative and the World Bank.
Send a Cow will present a summary of the research findings, followed by a discussion and Q & A with a panel of experts.
