In celebration of this year’s Social Enterprise World Forum 2022, The Challenges Group are hosting a virtual or in-person (depending on your preference) drop-in session for any and all Scottish innovators, entrepreneurs and development organisations interested in exploring how they achieve real impact and commercial viability in sub-Saharan Africa and beyond!
Regardless of your organisational structure (or lack thereof!), book a one-hour slot with us and share your thoughts, vision or plans, or simply come along to find out more about what we can do together to realise your internationalisation ambitions.
We are already supporting ambitious enterprises and entrepreneurs through this programme in such sectors as renewable energy, healthcare, water filtration, technology and programming, climate litigation and mobility and transportation, but do remain open to all new ideas.
The Challenges Group and our Social Enterprise Internationalisation Infrastructure Programme
Since 1999, Challenges has worked in more than 71 countries (primarily developing and emerging markets), providing a unique suite of business development services to no fewer than 4,000 social enterprises, entrepreneurs and SMEs to help them strengthen and grow.
We employ 50 commercially-minded individuals in Ghana, Rwanda, Uganda, Malawi and Zambia with a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in sub-Saharan Africa; our dedicated teams will actively collaborate with you to identify, design, set up and deliver viable and locally inclusive social enterprise models.
Through our new and innovative £1.5m venture-building support infrastructure programme and investment facility, awarded by the Scottish Government in 2021, Challenges continues to recruit, financially back, enduringly support and collaboratively build Scottish-based enterprises and organisations with the drive and ambition to expand internationally.
