The Scottish Parliament Cross-Party Group on International Development will meet on Tuesday 11th November for its AGM and to discuss the challenges and opportunities at the UN Climate Conference (COP30) which will be taking place in Brazil.
The meeting will hear from speakers joining live from the COP, as well as perspectives from Scotland and how domestic action can match with global ambition.
Speakers will include:
- Simon Anderson, International Institute for Environment and Development.
- Ben Wilson, Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund
- Julius Ng’oma, National Coordinator for Civil Society Network on Climate Change (CISONECC) in Malawi
- Louise Davies, Chief Executive, Scottish Fair Trade
- Becky Kenton-Lake, Stop Climate Chaos Scotland
